LOVE Island fans have expressed their sympathies towards Jessy Potts as rumours continue to swirl she has split from villa love Joey Essex – as he partied with an A-list popstar abroad.
The pair appeared loved up on the hit ITV2 dating show but have since been plagued by speculation they have broken up after failing to be seen with each other in recent days.
This week, Joey has been partying up a storm with his cousin Chloe Sims and best pal Vas J Morgan in Ibiza – with Jessy nowhere to be seen.
Joey was all smiles as he posed alongside Chloe and Vas as they enjoyed a star-studded night for the birthday celebrations of Taika Watiti, the husband of pop star Rita Ora.
Rita and Joey are long understood to have been close with one of Joey’s ex-girlfriends, Ex On The Beach star Lorena Medina, blaming a wild night of partying with Rita as the reason for their split.
His Ibiza trip comes amid his ongoing UK nightclub tour where he has been paid to party it up with clubgoers following his Love Island stint.
It has meant little time has been spent with Jessy and fans are now growing increasingly saddened for the rising star after fearing that Joey was “not serious” about her.
Expressing their sympathy towards Jessy, one person wrote underneath Joey’s Instagram post: “You were not serious about Jessy lol.”
Someone else said: “Where’s Jessy?”
Another begged: “Bro, you better spend time with Jessie too!”
Whilst Joey was living it up abroad, Jessy was in his native Essex as she caught up with some of her co-stars including Ronnie Vint.
The couple have hardly been seen together since leaving the villa, with many fans suggesting they had a ‘showmance’.
Just a few days ago, Jessy was spotted enjoying the sunshine in Brighton with her friends and Joey was nowhere to be seen.
She threw a peace sign as she spun around on the waltzers, joking that she was a “big kid”.
Whilst the pair got off to a good start after they returned to reality, their dates appear to have dwindled.
Joey didn’t attend Jessy’s homecoming party which was thrown for her by family and friends.
Joey also revealed that he was quitting the UK to find fame in America during an interview with This Morning.
One took to Reddit to remark: “Not one time did he ever consider the fact that Jessy may or may not come with him to America – and quite frankly, I don’t think he gives a damn if she does.”
“How will Jessy even get to America? Is she going to America?
“Logistically speaking, Jessy isn’t gonna stop her career to see her boyfriend filming on set for some reality tv show.”
