Is Helen Flanagan married?

Helen Flanagan is now said to be in a new relationship, after splitting from her footballer fiancé Scott Sinclair.

The actress revealed that she met someone new when she was on Celebs Go Dating.

After struggling to find a connection with someone on the show, Helen admitted that she had feelings for Robbie Talbot back home.

In a twist on the show, Robbie was then written into the show so Helen could develop her relationship with him.

The pair have since been seen together in public at Helen’s birthday in August.

Scott and Helen started dating back 2009 and got engaged in 2018.

Scott popped the question when they went on a romantic babymoon when Helen was pregnant with their second daughter.

However, in October 2022 The Sun exclusively revealed that the couple had split up.

Helen has since opened up about why the pair called it quits.

The pair were together for 13 years and had three children together.

She has been open about why they ended their relationship which was down to the pair arguing.

Speaking on Celebs Go Dating, Helen said: “I think it was just… we weren’t right for each other. We weren’t compatible anymore.

“I remember, I always used to feel quite invisible with Scott. I feel like I was always fighting to get his attention.

“The arguments that we’d have were just so… it was really sad.”

How many children does Helen Flanagan have?

Helen and Scott are parents to daughters Matilda (born 2015), Delilah (born 2018), and Charlie (born 2021).

Helen has often spoken about wanting to have a big family of four children.

She previously told Fabulous that she has wanted a baby for years: “I’ve always wanted to be a mum and I’ve wanted a baby ever since I was 18.

“But I waited for Scott, until he was ready.

“I remember when I turned 24, on my birthday he said: ‘Right, OK, we’ll try for a baby.’”

Who is Scott Sinclair?

Scott is best known for his football career.

The sports star last played as a winger for EFL Championship club Preston North End.

He represented England at youth level, from the under-17s to the under-21s, and also played for Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

He started his career with Bristol Rovers, before moving to Chelsea, from where he spent periods on loan at Plymouth Argyle, Queens Park Rangers, Charlton Athletic, Crystal Palace, Birmingham City and Wigan Athletic.

In August 2016 joined Celtic when he won both the PFA Scotland Players’ Player of the Year and SFWA Footballer of the Year awards, and he stayed with the club for a further two-and-a-half seasons before returning to England with Preston North End.
