Is Craig Revel Horwood married?

Craig Revel-Horwood is engaged to gardener Jonathan Myring, who is 22 years younger than him.

The couple, who have been together for two years, got engaged in Tasmania in April 2020.

Speaking to OK!, Craig said: “There’s such comfort in knowing you have somebody that loves you and wants to spend the rest of their life with you.

“I feel like I have someone who has my back and I’ve got theirs.”

Horticulturist Jonathan surprised Craig during a trip to a national park.

He stripped off in a salt bath and dropped to one knee to ask the question as the pair were enjoying champagne.

The couple initially wanted to get married quickly, but decided to delay their wedding until Covid restrictions had lifted.

They then hoped to marry in 2022, but later pushed the date back until 2023 due to home refurbishments.

And now it looks like they won’t say “I do” until 2027.

Ahead of Strictly 2024 kicking off, Craig told Woman’s Own magazine: “The wedding has had to go on the back burner again!

“It’s going to be the longest engagement ever – there’s a date in the diary for 2027.

“It’s been a right royal mess, but we’ll get there eventually, and hopefully our house will be renovated by then and the gardens will have grown.

“We want to get married at the house so it’s important to get all that sorted before we do it.

“She’s not really well enough to come over this year, so I’ve said we’ll wait until she’s better.

“I have said that I’ll be going up the aisle on a Zimmer frame, but with Jonathan joining the ambulance service, at least I’ll be looked after!

“There’s a little bit of method in the madness!”

The happy couple met in 2018 on the Strictly arena tour after being introduced by a friend.

He has openly said in the past that he would like to marry his much younger lover but ruled out having any children of his own.
