Who was Yevgeny Prigozhin?

Yevgeny Prigozhin was a Russian oligarch and mercenary leader who had been a close confidant of Vladimir Putin until he launched a rebellion in June 2023.

He was sometimes referred to as “Putin’s chef” because he owned restaurants and catering companies that provided services to the Kremlin.

In 2014, he founded a private military company called the Wagner Group to support Russian proxy forces in Ukraine.

On June 23, 2023 he launched a rebellion against the Russian military leadership.

However, the rebellion was called off the following day, and Prigozhin had his criminal charges dropped after agreeing to relocate his forces to Belarus.

Who is Yevgeny Prigozhin’s wife Lyubov Prigozhina?

Lyubpv Prigozhina is a pharmacist and businesswoman.

She owns a network of boutique stores known as the Chocolate Museum in Saint Petersburg.

Back in 2012, she started the Crystal Spa & Lounge, which is a day spa, which won a third place award in 2013 for the Perfect Urban Day Spa.

She has gone on to open a number of spas and wellness centres.

Who are Yevgeny Prigozhin’s children?

Was Prigozhin on the plane that crashed?

It has been reported that Prigozhin was on board a private jet that was downed by an explosion after leaving Moscow.

Nine other people were on board and it’s been said that all 10 have been killed.

The jet was filmed falling towards the ground from 28,000ft, with smoke pouring from the fuselage shortly before erupting into a fireball.

Both Wagner and Moscow sources have claimed Prigozhin is dead but there has been no official confirmation.
