How does the Euro 2024 draw work?
The 24 teams that qualify for Euro 2024 (three teams will be decided by the play-offs in March 2024) are divided into four separate pots.
Their performance in qualifying determines which pot each team will be in.
Hosts Germany will be in Pot 1 along with the five teams that have the best record from the qualifying stage.
The next best six teams will be in Pot 2, the next six in Pot 3 and finally, the remaining six in Pot 4.
Each group will contain one top-ranked team, one second-ranked team, one third-ranked team and one fourth-ranked team.
