It has now been revealed that the reason behind the change is to promote Billie Eilish’s new album.

Users have been left confused by SoundCloud’s new logo – with many not too happy with the change.
Taking to Reddit, several people have said that the logo needs to change back to the usual orange.
One simply commented: “We need the old orange logo back.”
While a second wrote: “It’s so out of place, super weird colour choice,” as another added: “My SoundCloud will always be orange. It’s my favorite colour and imo it’s the best look for SoundCloud.”
“I really want the orange logo back to. I don’t know why it changed to blue,” a fourth person said.

Billie Eilish’s newest album Hit Me Hard and Soft came out on Friday May 17, 2024.
The star decided to not release any singles ahead of the album launch and instead release the whole record in one go.
