The late Dallas Cowboys guard referred to Janelle as his “heart and soul.”
During his Hall of Fame enshrinement speech, the football player recalled his first date with the latter and the moment he knew he wanted to marry her.
He told the crowd: “On our first date, she cooked for me. I knew then, that was my wife right there.”

“Through that, he continued to serve as an inspiration for many other players defining what it meant to be a great teammate, competitor, and winner.
