SOCCER AID returns TONIGHT with the iconic charity match taking place at Stamford Bridge.
England will be aiming to end their torrid run of five straight defeats as they play catch-up to World XI’s overall tally.
Frank Lampard, Harry Redknapp, Robbie Williams, Vicky McClure and David Seaman will be at the helm for the Three Lions, aiming for a change in fortune in this year’s edition.
But they will be against some footballing greats, with the likes of Eden Hazard returning to Stamford Bridge to star for World XI this evening.
Former Blues, Peter Cech, Michael Essien and John Obi Mikel will also feature alongside the ex-winger.
World XI have been dealt a blow in the lead-up to the game with a Brazilian legend pulling out of tonight’s proceedings.
Why is Roberto Carlos not playing at Soccer Aid 2024?
World Cup-winning left-back Roberto Carlos will not be featuring for World XI at Soccer Aid 2024.
On Instagram, the Brazilian confirmed: “Unfortunately, I’m unable to make tonight’s Soccer Aid for UNICEF match at Stamford Bridge.
