This will be the third time the Olympic Games take place in LA.
The City of Angels also hosted the Games in 1932 and 1984.
Los Angeles will tie Paris and London for the most times as Olympic hosts.
When will the 2028 Olympics take place?
The 2028 Olympics will kick off on July 14, 2028 and will run until July 30.
The Paralympics, on the other hand, will start on August 15 and will go until August 27.
The Olympics return to the US for the first time since 1996 when the Games took place in Atlanta.
What new sports will be at the 2028 Olympics?
Five new sports, including the comeback of cricket, will be seen in LA.
We will also see squash, lacrosse, baseball and softball and flag football.
However, boxing and breaking will not be returning at the next Olympics.
