Whirlwind romance

Ercan was born on September 6, 1993, and gained fame as a cast member on the hit TV show The Only Way is Essex.

Before finding fame on TOWIE, he had spent years working as a builder and labourer.

In 2019, Ercan revealed that he had been approached to join Love Island but decided to turn down the opportunity.

He had started dating Vicky that same year, so he wanted to respect his relationship with her.

Ercan and Vicky moved in together in August 2019, after dating for just eight months.

They split briefly in 2020 when they stopped “making each other happy” before reconciling.

Vicky says they were able to reconcile because they attended couples therapy together.

In November 2020, during an interview with Closer, Vicky opened up about their relationship.

She said: “We’re probably closer than a couple who have been together for less than two years should be, but I’m really happy with him.

“I’m just pleased to see that the more I learn about him, the more I love him. I’m a very lucky bug.”

Fairytale proposal

In February 2022, Vicky announced that Ercan had proposed to her in Dubai.

She took to Instagram to say: “I choose you and I’ll choose you over and over without pause, without a doubt, in a heartbeat… It’ll always be you.

“To our forever @ercan_ram.”

She also shared an image of her ring, with the caption, “I do…

“Sorry guys, I don’t want to bore anyone with engagement spam… but I’m just not over this beautiful moment, my beautiful man or this beautiful ring…

“Thank you all for your incredibly kind messages… We’re on cloud 9.”

In 2022, she also started the process of freezing her eggs and said that she wanted to be “transparent” about how it works.

She said that she received “some really horrible messages” in response to going public with her choice, but remains convinced that there are “many different routes to motherhood“.

Tying the knot

Ercan and Vicky finally married in London on August 24, 2024.

They tied the knot at Marylebone Town Hall, in an event attended by some of their fellow co-stars including Faye Winter, Pete Wicks, Ferne McCann and Danielle Armstrong.

Vicky was ferried to the altar by a traditional red, double-decker bus.

After marrying, she honeymooned with her new husband in Italy.

My Deepfake Sex Tape

Vicky will star in a Channel 4 documentary named Vicky Pattinson: My Deepfake Sex Tape.

The show sees Vicky creating her own deepfake porn video before releasing it on social media.

She hopes that the show will show how “vulnerable all of us are” to online abuse.

Opening up about the moment that she posted the video, Vicky said that she felt she was at the “point of no return”.

She said: “What struck me most was how helpless I felt once it was released – it gave me a glimpse into the powerlessness victims experience.”

Vicky told Ercan about her plan to make the controversial series just a month into their marriage.

Speaking about the impact that the video had on their relationship, Vicky said: “I understand that — this hasn’t been very nice for my family.

“I don’t think this is how we pictured the first six months of our marriage.

“Ercan was there for me a lot.

“He features in the documentary but he had his limits, so I was mindful of that.”
