After failing to steal Grace Jackson from Joey Essex in 2024, he’s keen to find love this time round.

The battle for the blonde ended in Love Island’s very own fight night as the two seething suitors squared up to each other.

On entering this time though, Omar headed straight for Catherine Agbage instead of Grace.

A source said: “Omar did what bombshells are meant to do and tried to steal Grace from Joey, but it all ended badly for him.

“This time round he didn’t want to get into drama as genuinely wants to find love.

“Catherine is gorgeous and funny and it’s a bonus she’s also single.

“Omar is hoping to rewrite his Love Island story and Catherine could make for the perfect leading lady.”

Who is Love Island contestant Omar Nyame?

Omar Nyame was part of Love Island’s 2024 line-up after entering the villa as a bombshell.

Even though the 26-year-old is friends with rapper and Love Island host Maya Jama‘s then-boyfriend Stormzy, he went through the same selection process as everyone else to get on the show.

On who he most wanted to share the villa with in the summer of 2024, Omar said: “Drewskie the American comedian, he’s really funny.

“I’d also like to have Jack Grealish in there because he seems like a proper cool lad, and ladies-wise it would have to be Rihanna.”

On what makes him a catch, he explained: “I’m very confident in who I am and my looks.

“I’d like to think the way I can speak to women helps me out because I’m not shy and afraid to say how I feel about them.”

Omar added: “I’m done with messing around and casually seeing girls, I want to find real love.

Sean’s my guy as well, even though it did get a little intense with us both going after the same girl, I’ve got a lot of love for him.

He said that he wished he could’ve got to know Patsy better but that was cut short when she was dumped from the island.

He entered a love triangle with Mimii but that didn’t go too well as she decided she had a stronger connection with Ayo.

Before Omar left, he started to get to know Matilda and said he thought it could’ve gone somewhere.

He said: “From as soon as Matilda entered the villa I saw her as an attractive person. In my eyes we connected straight from the start.

“I know I gave it my best shot in terms of trying to get to know her and who knows, if I stayed in the villa it could have developed further.”

Despite not finding a romantic partner during his time on Love Island, Omar has managed to create several friendships.

He said: “Ciaran is such a cool kid ,and I had a good friendship with Ayo.

“Sean’s my guy as well, even though it did get a little intense with us both going after the same girl, I’ve got a lot of love for him.

“Jess and I really clicked in there, which made us grow together as friends. She was able to hear me out and listen to me when I wanted to share my opinion on things or wanted advice.”
