CASSANDRA “Cassie” Ventura has reportedly given birth two weeks after testifying in Sean “Diddy” Combs’ federal sex trafficking trial.
Ventura went into labor in New York City, where she’s stayed since taking the stand as a witness against her ex-boyfriend in early May.

The singer gave birth to a baby boy, her third child with her husband Alex Fine, a source close to the family told ABC News.
It comes after she was seen rushing to the labor unit in a New York City hospital on Tuesday, according to TMZ.
Ventura and Fine, who live in Los Angeles, have yet to speak out about the happy news.
However, ABC reports an insider said the couple is planning to share a social media post announcing the new addition to the family soon.
The couple’s first son is joining older sisters Frankie, born in December 2019, and Sunny, who was born in March 2021.
Ventura, 38, announced her pregnancy back in February by posting maternity pictures on Instagram with a blue heart, hinting at the baby’s gender.
Fine, 32, shared the same pictures on his social media and called his family the “best gift I could ask for.”
Ventura and Fine, a personal trainer, tied the knot in 2019 after dating for less than a year.
The couple first met at the gym around the time of her breakup with Combs in 2018.
Ventura accused the rapper, 55, of rape, abuse, and sexual coercion in a civil suit that was settled for $20 million in November 2023.
The legal action kicked off the government’s case against the hip hop mogul, after other alleged victims came forward with their stories.
The Me & U singer was the prosecution’s star witness in their ongoing federal trial against Combs for sex trafficking and racketeering.
She testified during the first week of the trial.
In the days after she took the stand:
- Her mom testified about taking pictures of Ventura’s bruises
- Singer Dawn Richard told jurors she saw Combs beat Ventura as she lay in the fetal position
- Ventura’s former best friend, Kerry Morgan testified she saw Combs assault her twice and that they fell out after Combs allegedly assaulted Morgan
- Investigators shared pictures taken during raids of Combs’ homes and hotel room after his arrest in September
- Rapper Kid Cudi was called to the stand to speak about Combs’ alleged threats against him when he dated Ventura in 2011
- Kid Cudi spoke about the Molotov cocktail that exploded in his car after Combs threatened him
- Combs’ former personal assistant, David James, testified Ventura told him the rapper controlled her career and money
Prosecutors called Ventura to the stand early on in the trial because she was eight-and-a-half months pregnant.
Alex Fine's full statement
Cassie Ventura's husband, Alex Fine, shared a statement via Ventura's lawyer about her testimony.
“Over the past five days, the world has gotten to witness the strength and bravery of my wife, freeing herself of her past.
“There has been speculation online surrounding how it must feel for me to sit there and listen to my wife’s testimony.
“I have felt so many things sitting there. I have felt tremendous pride and overwhelming love for Cass.
“I have felt profound anger that she has been subjected to sitting in front of a person who tried to break her. So, to him and all of those who helped him along the way, please know this: You did not.
“You did not break her spirit nor her smile that lights up every room. You did not break the souls of a mother who gives the best hugs and plays the silliest games with our little girls.
“You did not break the woman who has made me a better man.
“I did not save Cassie, as some have said. To say that is an in insult to the years of painful work my wife has done to save herself.
“Cassie saved Cassie. She alone broke free from abuse, coercion, violence, and threats. She did the work of fighting the demons that only a demon himself could have done to her.
“All I have done is love her as she has loved me. Her life is now surrounded by love, laughter and our family. This horrific chapter is forever put behind us, and we will not be making additional statements.
“We appreciate all of the love and support we have received, and we ask that you respect our privacy as we welcome our son into a world that is now safer because of his mom.”
Ventura was seen rubbing her baby bump as she told jurors about the horrific sex sessions with male escorts she was allegedly forced to partake in at Combs’ direction during their nearly 11-year relationship.
The mom-of-three broke down crying multiple times as she testified about Combs’ violent attacks, where he allegedly beat her and threatened to release videos of their “freak-offs.”
She testified about a horrifying 2016 attack that was caught on video, where Combs was seen kicking and shoving her in a hotel hallway when she tried to leave a drug-fueled sex session.
Ventura burst into tears moments before concluding her disturbing testimony on day five of the trial.

Fine showed up to court for the entire first week of the trial to support his wife.
However, he had to leave the courtroom for some of his wife’s testimony due to a potential conflict of interest, as Ventura was questioned about the overlap between her relationships with Combs and Fine.
It still remains unclear whether Fine will eventually testify.
After four grueling days on the stand, Ventura shared a short statement asking for privacy as she focused on her family after testifying about her trauma.
Her husband had more to say as he praised his wife’s bravery and strength in an emotional statement.
Fine spoke directly to Combs in the statement, saying, “You did not break her spirit nor her smile that lights up every room.
“You did not break the souls of a mother who gives the best hugs and plays the silliest games with our little girls. You did not break the woman who has made me a better man.”
He continued, “We appreciate all of the love and support we have received, and we ask that you respect our privacy as we welcome our son into a world that is now safer because of his mom.”
