Holly Bird took to social media to rave about the chain’s snow globes, leaving many open-mouthed[/caption]

And don’t worry if your purse feels lighter than ever before, as it’s not crazy expensive and won’t break the bank.

Holly Bird took to social media to share her hack, leaving many totally stunned.

Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains, a private Facebook group with 2.6 million members, the mother got candid on her recent discovery that has kept her young daughter entertained without needing to use iPads or the TV.

Alongside a short video of her daughter, Holly showed off her new B&M purchase – a large snow globe.

Rather than watching hours on YouTube, Holly claimed that her child has had fun staring at her new snow globe.

She then confirmed: “Not a bargain but if anyone has SEND kids I highly recommend buying this.

“I’ve had peace and quiet for the last hour or so.”

While Holly spent £25 on her large ‘Snow Much Fun’ snow globe, she added: “There are five different types and three different sizes.

“Between £10 to £25 from B&M.”

And it appears that Holly’s post has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 257 likes and 99 comments.

Facebook users were impressed with the simple but effective idea and many eagerly raced to the comments to express this.

One person said: “This looks so lovely, might have to have a look in B&M!”

Another added: “My son is autistic and has intellectual disabilities and we got him the Santa one last year. He loved it.”

A third commented: “We got one reduced on Christmas Eve last year and I needn’t have bothered buying my little girl any other presents… she loved it so much!”

At the same time, one user penned: “These look amazing! Thanks for the heads up.”

How to save money at B&M

Shoppers have saved hundreds of pounds a year by using B&M's scanner app.

The scanner lets you see if an item’s price is cheaper than advertised on the shop floor label.

Products that are typically discounted are seasonal items and old stock that B&M is trying to shift.

The app is free to download off the B&M Stores mobile app via Google Play or the Apple App Store.

According to one ex-B&M manager, you’ll want to visit your local branch at 10am on a Wednesday too.

Here’s how you can join the B&M bargain hunt:

  • Download the B&M app for free on any smartphone with an App Store or Google Play.
  • Once you’ve installed it on your device, click on the option labelled “more” on the bottom, right-hand side of the app home page.
  • You’ll then find an option that says “barcode scanner”. Click on this and you’ll open a camera screen.
  • Use the camera to hover over the barcode of the product you wish to check.
  • If the price comes up as lower, take it to the cash desk and it will automatically scan at the lower price.
  • You don’t need to sign up to the B&M app to use the barcode scanner.

Not only this, but one parent explained: “We have these and the smaller ones. My SEN kids love them.”

Whilst one mum acknowledged: “My granddaughter was glued to mine last Christmas.”

Meanwhile, one user tagged a loved one and wrote: “Have you seen this? Worth getting one.”
