World’s most expensive Volvo comes with champagne flutes, a huge fridge & surround sound with 19 speakers

THIS is the world’s most expensive Volvo, featuring champagne flutes, a huge fridge and a 19-speaker surround sound system.

The flash motor was shown off on TikTok by Dutch petrolhead Maximilian Chester, better known as Pwuf Talks Cars.

In the clip, he gave viewers a tour around the ultra-luxurious converted XC90.

Inside, the usually seven-seated SUV had been paired down to just four plush leather options with a large central console in the middle.

This housed a surprisingly large fridge and specially designed champagne flutes, which had no bases so they could slot seamlessly into the cup holders provided.

And, speaking of the cup holders, these could be heated or chilled at the press of a button, making them ideal for any of your favourite beverages.

Customers could even have the front passenger seat removed and replaced with a foldable footrest/entertainment screen combo unit for extra space and comfort.

The armrests also had “premium feeling” folding tables hidden inside and there were 19 speakers dotted around the cabin to create a surround sound system.

This could be customised to provide the ambience of a number of famous venues via the main control screen in the front, including the iconic concert hall in Gothenburg, Sweden, which Maximilian described as “absolutely insane”.

Plus there was a rear partition window to reduce road noise and the boot contained a pair of switches to raise or lower the suspension, making loading it up easier.

However, there were a couple of features that Maximilian was less keen on.

He said: “If I’m being chauffeured with a huge screen in front of me, I do not want to be manually putting up my window shade.

“The manually adjusting steering wheel seems insanely out of place.

“No self-closing doors?…that’s a bit of shame [and] ashtrays seem a little bit ’90s.”

Nonetheless, after apparently spending five months to track one down, he was happy with the overall product.

The stunning conversion is produced by Dutch firm Der Linkerbaan and will set you back a whopping £100,000.
