Shoppers moan as they show ‘what a mess’ Selfridges’ Boxing Day sale really looked like & complain they were ‘shoved’

NOW that Christmas is over, many shoppers are taking advantage of the Boxing Day sales.

However, one woman shared how she massively regretted going to one Selfridges and claims she was “shoved and pushed” by fellow shoppers and the expensive displays ended up in a “mess.”

In a clip on her @theprivatebanker_ account, the shopper gave a tour around the designer shoe section.

While many shoes were labelled with their discounted prices, nearly all the pairs still cost in the three figures, including £799 Yves Saint Laurent heels.

For such extravagant prices, you may expect a luxury shopping experience, but this was seemingly not the case for the customer when she arrived.

While the shop may have been organised when doors first opened for the sale, she claims the shoes were strewn in their displays and she was jostled by other shoppers during her visit.

One person replied saying: “Selfridges just ruins the experience of luxury shopping sorry.”

She replied, sharing: “Totally agree. It was impossible to have a good look without getting pushed and shoved.

“£799 for YSL heels just thrown there.”

Another designer wrote: “These sales on designer are a nightmare! Paying so much for heels being thrown out & pushed about! Defeats luxury!”

And a third said: “who’s paying that price when they’re literally chucked there.”

The woman replied: “Online shopping is the way to go for sure cause this was hell!”

Selfridges currently have a sale on for up to 50 per cent off selected items.

The website states: “Refresh your wardrobe, revamp your interiors and replenish your cupboards with Selfridges’ seasonal sale.

“From tasty treats and sweet-smelling scents that fill up your home to occasional dresses and suiting separates that keep you looking suave on those special days – there’s something for everybody to enjoy.”
