‘Hate it so much!’ rage EastEnders fans as they’re left ‘vomiting’ by couple’s proposal – and spot unusual pattern

WHITNEY Dean has stunned EastEnders fans as she got down on one knee and proposed to Zack Huson.

The soap character, played by Shona McGarty, popped the question in front of the entire Queen Vic pub.

Viewers of the long-running BBC One soap will know Zack cheated on the expectant mother with her pal Lauren Branning.

Whitney is still oblivious to his infidelity, however, Bianca threatened to tell her if Zack didn’t find missing Britney.

And in tonight’s show she appeared to be inspired by Years and Years’ Olly Alexander who made a guest appearance.

He arrived in the pub as Johnny Carter’s apparent pal as he prepares to fly to Sweden for Eurovision.

“I always imagined love to be, you know like Disney kind of love?

“But I got my prince – it took me a couple of frogs but I got there in the end, it’s never too late is it?”

While Zack was puzzled as Bianca and Britney watched on, Whitney then got on one knee and proposed to the hunk.

As the entire pub congratulated the happy couple, Lauren walked in and was left less than impressed before storming back out.

Taking to social media, EastEnders fans have hit out at show bosses over the scenes as her exit approaches.

One said: ” I don’t like this propaganda Eastenders and BBC are pushing. Why are the women proposing to men?”

A second wrote: “Whats it with Eastenders and women proposing, they let a pregnant woman dobale.”

“Why are the women proposing,” said a third with a vomit emoji.

While a fourth commented: “They need to stop pushing this narrative of women proposing to men in #Eastenders. I hate it so much.”

EastEnders continues on BBC One and iPlayer.
