Emily, who met Cam on the hit Netflix show in 2021, talked about her strange habit on their parenting podcast Now We’re Talking Baby.

She joked how it took her 33 weeks before she had a craving after sharing the podcast clip.

Showing off her huge baby bump, she excitedly said: “I’ve discovered I have a craving and actually I’m dying to do it now as well it’s like really quite bad actually.”

Cam, who looked perplexed by the habit, said: “Yeah but it’s also mixed in with something you used to do when you were a child so..”

“I know so it’s brought back all this nostalgia,” Emily admitted.

“I walk into the bathroom and Em’s sucking a dry flannel,” Cam continued.

“It’s not dry it’s wet!” she shouted.

“Okay sorry, she’s sucking a wet flannel and she’s going like this, looking at herself in the mirror going yummmm,” Cam joked.

“And I go what the f*** are you doing? And she’s like ‘it just tastes so nice’ and I’m like ‘what tastes nice?!'” he said.

Let me just put some context behind this,” Emily interjected to which Cam replied: “Oh yeah, please do that will make this much more normal.”

“A freshly washed flannel, oh my god, soak it and just biting on it, oh my god honestly I need to do it right now,” she laughed.

Emily, who revealed she was pregnant on New Years Day, joked that she was going to do it to a pillow within reaching distance.

They revealed in an interview with The Sun that they are expecting a baby boy.

The couple’s journey to becoming parents hasn’t been easy, with the pair going through the heartbreak of an ectopic pregnancy in June 2022.

The star was rushed to hospital two years ago, after feeling indescribable pain in her stomach, where she underwent emergency surgery.

At the time, she said she was: “Physically in a lot of pain and bed bound after the surgery,” adding: “but mentally it’s been even harder.”

Explaining exactly what that meant, she wrote:  “For those who haven’t heard of this (like me) it’s basically where the fetus gets stuck and grows in your Fallopian tube which is fatal and if I had left it much longer my Fallopian tube would of burst.”

While she and Cam are over the moon to become parents, Emily said that they were “apprehensive to begin with”.

Emily shared: “We had doubts and concerns at the very beginning.

“But, luckily, it has been smooth sailing this time. We went and did an early pregnancy test at about seven weeks and then as soon as we got the all clear and found out everything was perfect and healthy, we were then able to relax.

“We were apprehensive to begin with, that’s for sure.”
