A SKINCARE fan has shared a homemade cleanser that changed her skin.
She explained that the key is an affordable and versatile $10 skincare buy.
Erin (@frequencyportal) shared the beauty recipe in a viral TikTok video.
“I get asked very regularly what I do for my skin and for literally years, I did nothing except this one thing,” she said.
All she does, she added, is wash her face with a homemade castor oil mixture.
While her skincare secret is simple, she credited it for “changing” her skin.
Erin revealed that her secret holy grail cleanser consisted of one-fourth of castor oil, and the rest was sweet almond oil.
Her favorite, she added, is iQNatural’s $10 Black Castor Oil.
“This is the secret. We’re [going to] break up all the makeup, all the dirt, all the grime, and it’s crazy. It takes all your makeup off. It literally does everything you need it to do,” she said.
After massaging the oil into her skin, she steamed her face with hot water.
Erin steams her face for as long as possible and then wipes the oil off with a warm towel.
She added that the oil leaves her face feeling “so fresh.”
Immediately afterward, she follows up with creams to seal in the moisture.
Viewers raved about the effectiveness of castor oil and thanked her for her creative DIY.
