Many homeowners have been getting creative with how to display their flowers as they bloom this spring.

According to Rosemary & Pepper Flower Co., keeping flowers in the home can lift your mood by making you feel more in touch with nature.

They can also help to keep the air fresh and enhance the beauty of any interior.

Lyndsay (@thenestdesigns) has over 144,000 followers on TikTok, where she shares crafts and DIY projects.

She went viral on the app when she revealed how to make a spring flower box.

At Dollar Store, she picked up a wooden crate and cutting board for $1.25 each.

She then ordered a pack of 15mm half-wooden beads from Amazon for $9.99.

Lyndsay hot-glued the beads and crate to the wooden board without measuring how far to space them apart.

Having painted everything her desired color, she put floral foam in the crate and arranged a bunch of flowers inside.

She completed the project by sticking a saying to the cutting board.

Over 35,000 people liked the video and many viewers took to the comment section raving about the finished flower box.

Lyndsay confessed that it took her multiple visits to Dollar Tree to find the cutting boards for the project.

“Cute! Def doing this for a Mother’s Day gift from the grandkids,” one person wrote.

“A little mirror on it (from the candle section) would be cute too instead of words. Keep it at the front door for lip gloss and keys,” another said.

“Stick some flare pens and a gift card in it for teacher’s appreciation!” a third chimed.

“Could even glue the gift card to a stick to make it blend with some flowers!”

Budget interior design tips

Interior designer Judy Hoang shared her furniture tips with The U.S. Sun.

  • Thrift furniture and paint it to match your decor.
  • Test if an item is fit for its purpose before thrifting.
  • Shop at Target or HomeGoods for rugs, lamps, desks, and pillows.
  • Invest in classic timeless pieces.
  • Set up smart home lighting to save money.

“White then put stain over it will give you the grainy rustic look,” another suggested.

The hack comes after another TikToker went viral when she used flowers to make 3D artwork for her home.

Rebecca (@rebsthwk) covered a canvas in acrylic paint before hot gluing flowers to it.

She then put the artwork in an eye-catching gold frame.

Viewers were amazed that she was able to complete the project with “zero qualifications.”
