PEOPLE are only just realising there’s a hidden feature in your car key that can start your car remotely.
The TikTok star known as ‘Gormley Car Sales’ went onto the social media site to show just how it’s done to his 8,400 followers.
He says: “I bet you didn’t know your car has a hidden key start function.”
As he holds up a set of keys, he adds: “Now, this is obviously a car key here.
“It’s not pushed to start as jet key.
“So first thing you want to do is hit unlock, lock, unlock once and double tap.
“You’ll see the dash light up… And there we go.”
The footage has been viewed around 1.2million times, picking up some 29,500 likes and nearly 740 comments.
The short clip allowed for many jokey comments on the social media site.
One person wrote: “Cheers mate, I left it in gear and took the misses out.”
Another said: “Just tried it. I’m currently chasing my car down the main road.”
While a third added: “Just done it and every car in my street started apart from mine.”
