While comparison site trolley.co.uk has compared the cost of other Christmas chocolates including Roses, Ferrero Rochers and Celebrations.

Trolley compares the prices of 130,000 products across 14 major supermarkets so is great way to make sure you’re not missing out.

But you’ll have to be quick because some of the offers are only available for a set period.

We found that the biggest saving from the cheapest to the most expensive was a whopping £4.50.

It goes to show it always pays to compare prices so you know you’re getting the best deal.

It’s also important to bear in mind that as we approach the Christmas season, there are always sales and special offers on big tubs.

So if you think you can hold out for a lower price keep your eyes peeled over the coming weeks.

Below we compare the current prices of Christmas chocs across the big supermarkets and high street chains.

Quality Street

Aldi is selling the Christmas favourite 600g tub of Quality Street chocolates for just £3.99.

That’s 11% less than the usual £4.50.

The next cheapest according to Trolley is at Asda, which is selling the same size box for £4.50.

This is a big difference compared to the most expensive price at the moment.

Iceland is selling a tub for £5.50, a whole £1.50 more than Aldi.

Celebrations

Celebrations are many people’s go-to for a Christmas chocolate, with a whole range of classic Nestle treats.

You can currently nab a 600g tub of Celebrations for £4.49 instead of £4.99 at Aldi too.

Although, this is only 1p less than the next cheapest at Asda which is selling the chocs for £4.50.

The next cheapest is at Morrisons for a fiver,

Iceland and B&M are selling the same size box for £5.50.

It means the saving between the most expensive and the cheapest is £1.

Heroes

Heroes are the perfect combination of Cadbury chocolates for the festive season.

Out of all the supermarkets listed on Trolley, the cheapest tub for Heroes is £4.50 at Asda again.

That’s the price of a 550g tub, so slightly less than both Quality Street and Celebrations.

There isn’t a huge price difference for these chocs, we found the most expensive shop selling the same size container was at Tesco for £5.

This was also the same price at Sainsbury’s too.

Ferrero Rocher

Ferrero Rochers are one of the fancier choices for a Christmas treat.

For that reason they are much more expensive than the average tub of festive chocolates.

The cheapest choice we found for a box of 24 was at Asda for just £6.50.

This is reduced currently at the moment from a whopping £9.50, so you might want to be quick grabbing these.

But, at the other end of the scale, the most pricey box of the posh chocs was at Boots for a huge £11.

It means that by picking up the the box at Asda will save you £4.50 in total.

Roses

Roses are another great option for Cadbury chocolate fans.

There isn’t a huge price difference between the priciest and the cheapest.

Asda and Ocado are selling a 550g tub for £4.50 each.

While Tesco is selling the same size box of chocs for £5 – a 50p increase.

Meanwhile, shoppers are realising you can build your own tin of Quality Street and they’re filling it with a re-introduced flavour.

Plus, B&M fans have been going wild over new Mars treats spotted on shelves.
