EMMERDALE has revealed the truth about Chloe Harris and her disappearance.
The teenage single mum – who is played by actress Jessie Elland in the ITV soap – fled the village with baby Reuben earlier this month to punish ex Mackenzie Boyd for abandoning her to return to wife Charity Dingle.
It was thought that no-one knew where Chloe had gone and that had driven Mackenzie to breaking point.
However, tonight the truth was revealed when her sister Amy was discovered to know exactly where to find the mother and son.
Finding Mackenzie having broken into her cottage and going through her things, Amy realised she needed to act.
And it revealed how she had been lying to everyone.
While she had told everyone including her fiancee Matty that she had no idea where Chloe was, that wasn’t the truth.
“Amy?” said a shocked Chloe as her sister turned up at her door.
“I’m sorry I had to see you by myself,” she told her.
“Look I can’t stay long, Matty doesn’t know where I am. No-one does but I don’t know how long it will stay like that.
“It’s Mackenzie. He’s not going to stop. He’s desperate, Chloe. That’s why I needed your address. I haven’t told him anything but I don’t know how long I can go on like this.
She added: “You and Reuben need to come home. This isn’t a life. This is not about Mackenzie.
“This is about what’s best for your little boy.”
Chloe didn’t answer but her plan to live in a bedsit for the foreseeable future doesn’t appear to be a sane one.
And viewers are sick and tired of the twists.
