Singer Dee Tails revealed the news on Saturday[/caption]

Singer Dee Tails broke the news on his Instagram Stories on Saturday (June 1).

He wrote: “It’s with my deepest regret to inform you that as of the end of March 2024 after two years of conceptual prepper, I was forced to leave the project due to deeply personal reasons.

“For those who know, thank you for your support and or those concerned… I’m good!”

The singer continued: “Remember there is only one motion and it always moves forward.”

Last year, Dee revealed that he and his bandmates KG, G-Man, and Kule T had been busy creating new tracks together.

The news came 28 years after their debut hit I’ve Got a Little Something for You.

During their heyday, MN8 soared as one of the UK’s most sought-after groups, hitting the charts with three top 10 hits.

They even supported Janet Jackson on tour and hosted Top of the Pops in 1996.

But when the work dried up, they all went their separate ways after being dropped by their labels Columbia and 1st Avenue.

After a rough patch, Dee found his footing in the acting world scoring roles like a Gotham City Police Officer in Batman Begins and featuring in a Nescafe commercial.

He’s also appeared in Captain Phillips, ITV‘s Jekyll & Hyde.

His big breakthrough came with his role as Cratinus in Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

He went on to be cast in Rogue One, The Last Jedi and Solo, all part of the Star Wars franchise.

Dee’s love of film also extends behind the camera, as he writes film scripts daily about AI and other futuristic topics.

However, there are no plans for them “to come out” any time soon.

Speaking to The Sun, he said: “There’s no plan for them to come out, but it’s that creative process just to plug into something and finish it.

“I’ve never pitched one to a production company.”
