Xbox reveals three new consoles as part of its groundbreaking showcase

XBOX has just held its showcase during Summer Games Fest and one announcement was more exciting than the rest.

A whole host of upcoming games were shown from Gears of War: E-Day to Indiana Jones and The Great Circle, but there was something else players were excited for.

Xbox revealed that there would be three new consoles catering to every type of player.

The cheapest will be the 1TB Xbox Series S, this was originally released in September 2023.

Originally the new 1TB Xbox Series S was only available in black, but players can now grab it in white.

This new console will be the same price as the black version at $349/£299.

Next up is a digital version of the 1TB Xbox Series X, Xbox’s more powerful console.

It has the same amount of memory as the current Series X, but without the disc drive so that it has a more budget-friendly price point.

This console will also come in white and will be priced at $449 (likely £399), with the original disc-based version priced at $569/£479.

The final console announced in the showcase is the 2TB Xbox Series X, which has twice the storage of the regular console.

This comes in black with a spackled white overlay with Xbox calling it the Galaxy Black Special Edition.

The Special Edition will cost $599 (likely £549) and is for players who want to keep multiple big triple-A games on their consoles.

Unlike the other new Xbox Series X it will come with a disc drive like the original console.

There is no specific release date for these three consoles, but they are scheduled for release in late 2024, likely in time for the holiday season.
