Buy a bottle and make it go further for your next party with these easy but delicious prosecco cocktail recipes.

PEACH PERFECT: A classic Bellini kicks off any celebration, and tinned peaches make it cost-friendly.

Buy a tin of peaches in juice at Tesco for £1.10, blend, pour some prosecco into each glass before topping each with the peach mixture and stirring.

Serves: 8

Cost: 82p per glass

BERRY NICE: Beat the heat with a Frozen Raspberry Fizz. Get a pack of frozen raspberries — £2.25 from Asda — and blend two handfuls.

Add a few spoonfuls of the mixture into a glass, top it up with prosecco, and then stir.

Try it and if it is a little too tart for your taste, add half a teaspoon of sugar to the rest of the raspberry mixture before making the other cocktails.

Serves: 8

Cost: 97p per glass

LOOKING ROSE: For an elegant twist, try Rose-secco. Add one teaspoon of Belvoir elderflower & rose cordial — £3.25, at Tesco — to each flute, then pour in prosecco, before gently stirring. Garnish with a few rose petals if you like.

Serves: 8

Cost: £1.09 per glass

GRAPE IDEA: For a refreshing twist on a classic Aperol Spritz, why not make a grapefruit spritz instead?

You will need a bottle of Aperini — Aldi’s own version of Aperol — £6.99, and three grapefruits, £1.60, at Asda.

Extract the juice from the grapefruits and pour one shot of the juice and one shot of Aperini into a wine glass. Next, add ice and then stir gently to combine.

Top with prosecco, garnish with a twist of grapefruit zest, and serve.

Serves: 8

Cost: £1.76 per glass
