Kaleb, 26, isn’t afraid to speak his mind to the veteran broadcaster, and has become a firm favourite among fans of Prime Video series, Clarkson’s Farm.

And now Jeremy has revealed his colleague didn’t hold back when he returned from a trip away.

Writing in his column for The Times, Jeremy explained how he had enjoyed a break away to the South of France with his girlfriend Lisa.

However, he can no longer handle lying in the sun like he once used to.

He wrote: “The next problem we have when we go abroad is the sun. I used to lie in it, hoping I could go home looking like David Dickinson.

“But I never achieved that Cuprinol finish. I just went red and then all my skin fell off, as though my eczema had returned.

“So now I don’t sunbathe at all. I just sit under a tree until five and then scuttle at high speed into the pool.”

He continued: “When I returned to the farm on Monday, Kaleb thought I’d caught vitiligo.”

According to the NHS, Vitiligo is a chronic autoimmune disorder that causes skin to lose its colour or pigment, resulting in white or lighter patches.

Thankfully Jeremy does not suffer with the condition, but did have to battle with mosquitoes during his trip to St Tropez.

He wrote: “In the south of France this year, I took a dozen hits. So did all my children. But Lisa, who’s Irish, was completely untroubled.”

Meanwhile, Jeremy recently revealed his new £1 million pub near his farm will be opening much sooner than he originally thought.

Jeremy took to social media to address students who did not receive the results they wanted on their A-levels this week.

He shared some words of encouragement with them, writing: “Don’t worry if your A level results aren’t what you were hoping for.

“I got a C and two Us, and here I am, 46 years later, with my own pub. It opens next weekend if you fancy dropping in.”
