EastEnders’ Freddie Slater makes huge mistake with rapist dad

EASTENDERS’ Freddie Slater has made a huge mistake after being told who his biological father is.

The fish and chip seller – who is played by actor Bobby Brazier in the BBC soap – has never been told the truth about his dad, or how he was conceived.

Viewers know that Freddie’s biological dad is Graham Foster – the man who raped his mum Little Mo.

Clearly troubled, Freddie told Kat: “Seeing Alfie being this wicked dad with the boys and speaking with Bobby and Anna after… it’s left me wondering about my dad. I need to know who he is and how to find him.”

Later Freddie tried to get information from Billy and Alfie, but they were warned off by Kat while an eager Tommy listened in.

Freddie turned up at Kat’s house and said: “Kat I haven’t felt right my whole life. I feel incomplete and I know it’s because of him so I’m not leaving here until I know the truth.”

Kat lied and told Freddie that his mum had an affair and that she didn’t tell her sisters anything.

Later she told Jean and Harvey: “I’m not proud of myself, you know, but it’s not exactly a lie.

“If she even hears the name Graham Foster, she goes to pieces. She can’t even walk passed a car dealership without breaking out in a sweat. She avoids London like the plague. I just feel so bad.”

And later Freddie called his mum, desperate to ask her – but he was distracted before he got the chance.

“I’m just missing you that’s all,” he said.

“You sound happy mum. I’m alright. Course I’m brushing my teeth – top and bottom, I’m not nine. Mum, I love you. Look someone’s at the door, I’ve got to go.”

But before he could ask his mum Tommy turned up.

“I know how to find your dad,” he said before giving Freddie what he had overheard.

Later Freddie began googling to find his dad – and he found him at the car dealership he’s currently working at.

Fans are horrified by the development.

One wrote: “Don’t wanna guess Freddie’s reaction when he finds out half the square knew the truth.”

A second said: “Poor Freddie. This father truth is not what you want to know hun…”

Another added: “Oh no Freddie is opening a whole box of pain here he should of listened to Kat.”
