MARNIE Simpson was left fuming as she hit back on social media after being mum-shamed whilst on holiday.
The former Geordie Shore star is currently on a getaway abroad in New York to promote her new show, All Star Shore.
Marnie, 31, opted to take her eldest son Rox, three, on the trip with her husband Casey Johnson.
However, the former Celebrity Big Brother personality decided to leave her youngest four-month-old baby Oax at home.
As the pair drove to their next location, Marnie decided to entertain herself by hosting a Q&A with her and Casey, 28, on her Instagram stories.
One of her critics asked the star: “How comes you don’t take Oax on Holiday?”
To which, she was left slightly perturbed as she had a perfectly good reason for her decision.
Marnie explained: “So I didn’t take Oax on holiday because he’s so young. This holiday was like focused on Rox. Like Oax is so young.”
Casey was quick to interject saying, “He doesn’t know where he is”, as Marnie continued: “He doesn’t know what’s going on.
“And I just feel like taking him away, putting him through all of that, like stress and possible late nights and just out of his routine.
I just don’t know if it would have been good for him. I don’t think it would have been good for him at all. I think at his age, he just needs his routine.
“You know, I think we’re gonna take Oax away when he turns two, I think I think from two onwards is like a good age to take them away anyway.”
She added: “But Rox absolutely loved the holiday and we were able to give him so much attention, which he hasn’t had since Oax came along so it was really nice.”
But viewers were not satisfied as they attempted to mum-shame Marnie again with more questions about her child care arrangements.
One user asked her: “If you didn’t take Oax on holiday with yous, who’s looking after him?”
However, it seemed that Marnie was utterly perplexed at the question, as she furiously hit out at the user.
The reality star exclaimed: “Oax was with his nana. He was with my mam!”
Marnie added: “I don’t understand there’s no conspiracy guys. Oh, this was with his nana.
