EASTENDERS fans fumed after the soap ‘went missing’ after a schedule shake-up tonight.
The BBC soap usually airs on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm – but The One Show was still on until 7.45pm.
The One Show showed a short film about how The Beatles came together to record their last song.
But some Soap fans took to X to share how unimpressed they were as that meant that the show was late on our screens.
One said: “Why is #TheOneShow messing up the schedule #eastenders.”
“Oh piss off just put EastEnders on now #theoneshow,” another wrote.
A third chimed in: “Why can’t they have just played this on Friday when EastEnders is not on.”
“#TheOneShow Oh hurry up with Eastenders. You’re running late!,” a fourth added.
The One Show was on for a little longer tonight to celebrate AI-generated Beatles song, Now And Then.
The instalment included an exclusive broadcast of the last Beatles song.
EastEnders fans don’t have to worry as the show will be back on Thursday and all episodes will be available on BBC iPlayer.
