EMMERDALE is heading for disaster as Caleb Miligan made a chilling discovery about nemesis Kim Tate tonight.
The businessman – who is played by actor William Ash in the ITV soap – has long been determined to destroy millionaire super bitch Kim for her part in his dad Frank Tate’s death.
Viewers know Caleb’s plan to steal Kim’s millions and leave her destitute failed tragically and he was forced to back off.
But in recent weeks he has tried to resume his revenge plans.
And tonight he discovered a crucial piece of evidence that means he could destroy her – but it would cost him his family.
After clashing with Kim in the cafe over Lydia living at Home Farm, Caleb realised Kim was cagey when he mentioned rapist Craig.
And when he ran into her in the village, he pressed her and realised she was hiding something.
Later in the pub when they clashed again, Caleb waited to see what Kim would do – and he overheard her calling his brother Cain to get him to shut Caleb down.
Viewers know it was Kim’s horse who killed Craig – while she was riding him – and Kim and Cain agreed to let Craig die for Lydia’s sake rather than saving him.
And now Caleb is close to working out the truth.
He confided in son Nicky: “Something’s just not adding up with Craig’s death. Bit of a coincidence, isn’t it?
“And why’s she so jumpy every time his name gets mentioned? And what’s Cain got to do with it? She was straight on the phone to him after our little run in.”
Fans are in shock at the twist.
