DIAMONDS really are a girl’s best friend – just ask Dua Lipa.
I can reveal the Houdini singer wore over £300,000 worth of Tiffany & Co diamonds during her weekend partying at Glastonbury.
I’m told that despite losing countless items myself to the Worthy Farm mud bosses at the famous jewellers didn’t worry the bling would go missing and didn’t send security – as is common practice – to guard the gems.
Dua wore sparklers worth £258,000 as she kicked off her Pyramid Stage headline set on Friday, including three necklaces costing £79,000 each, inset, before partying in gems worth £42,000 as she hit the VIP areas at the festival.
I hope Tiffany’s have got some anti-bac at the ready.
I needed a whole tube just to try to get the muck off my hands.
We spotted Dua all over the festival site with her boyfriend Callum Turner yet her presence went mostly unnoticed by revellers.
But one person did recognise her in the VIP area and their decision to try to impress her with their musical abilities has now become a meme.
Liam C, a busker who plays the ukulele, filmed the moment he spotted the New Rules singer then played a tune for her.
But it seems Dua wasn’t too impressed, as she looked a little baffled while politely listening to his efforts then making a quick escape.
Liam also stopped D Block Europe and Stormzy at the festival.
It’s well worth a watch if you fancy a giggle.
