There’s a tip-top deal on an anti-ageing eye cream on the Boots website right now – and it’s one that shoppers absolutely love.
The RoC Retinol Correxion Line Smoothing Eye Cream is on sale at Boots for under £14.
RoC Retinol Correxion Line Smoothing
Eye Cream, £13.99 (was £27.99)
RoC’s line of skincare has garnered high praise for creating high quality, potent and effective anti-ageing products – but they don’t come cheap.
The RoC Retinol Correxion Line Smoothing Eye Cream has been slasjed to half-price in the Boots sale: it’s fallen from £27.99 to £13.99.
In fact, Boots has launched numerous beauty deals on the brand.
Currently, the Boots sale sees select RoC skincare reduced to half-price, as well as select skincare items more broadly.
While this eye cream falls into both offers, that doesn’t mean double discount on the item.
The RoC Retinol Correxion Line Smoothing Eye Cream may sound scary to some, as Retinol is a potent active ingredient in skincare products, and applying close to the eyes may be alarming.
But don’t fret: the RoC experts have carefully formulated the product to keep you, and your eyes safe – this has been clinically tested.
The retinol ingredient used is RoC’s signature formula, which is created using a mineral complex that is gentler on sensitive areas.
It has also been formulated with magnesium asparate, which hydrates the skin, as well as zinc gluconate and copper gluconate.
The advanced retinol complex aims to target the main concerns for the eye area, which are puffy eye bags, dark circles under the eye, as well as fine lines and wrinkles.
This popular beauty product works to brighten the eye area, plump the fine lines, while reducing any puffiness for a bright eyed and bushy tailed visage.
Simple apply a few dots on the eye area in the morning and night, as well as the very top of the cheekbone, as experts have claimed this area absorbs nourishing ingredients better and filters into the eye socket above to target those concerns.
Plus, you can extend the cream to the edges of the eye where crows feet tend to sit.
The best technique is gently tapping the product into those areas instead of dragging or pulling the skin, which can be more detrimental and counter productive.
By dabbing the area you are also stimulating blood flow to the eyes to help with circulation.
As this eye cream features retinol it is advised to ease it into your beauty routine, so apply every other day, or less, to begin, and gradually increase to suit your tolerance.
It is often advised not to wear retinol in direct sunlight, and while RoC’s website states you can apply in the morning or evening, I would stress applying sunscreen in the morning, or simply wait for your evening pamper routine.
After clinical studies, RoC has found this eye cream brightens and reduces puffy eyes in just four weeks, while it took 12 weeks to reduce fine lines by half.
Shoppers have shared that a little goes a long way with the RoC Retinol Eye Cream, and in 12 weeks any crows feet has reduced by half.
Did we forget to mention Sarah Jessica Parker has previously joined forces with the brand, and shared her devotion to the label and its effective products?
The RoC hero product has garnered almost 5,000 glowing reviews, and an average of 4.5 out of 5 stars, with one shopper even claiming it’s a “miracle cream”.
This happy buyer wrote: “I bought this a month ago and within two days I could see smoother, plumper, glowing skin around my eyes!”
A different Boots customer raved: “I’m in my early 50s, and often mistaken for being in my 30s or early 40s.
“I’ve been using this for many years and my eye area is literally line-free.
“A little goes a long way, and [it’s] great around the smile lines when traveling.”
Another gushed: “My eyes have never looked so smooth and glowy. [Some] fine lines have definitely diminished.
“I will not be without this product. The entire RoC skincare line is so underrated… [I] can’t wait to try other products.”
