Black Friday is on 29 November this year; as ever, it falls the day after Thanksgiving in the US, which is always the fourth Thursday in November.

Is GoPro taking part in Black Friday this year?
GoPro has taken part in Black Friday sales in recent years, with some bargains even making an appearance before the day itself.
Because of that we think it’s highly likely that GoPro will be taking part in this year’s mega shopping event.

When is Cyber Monday 2024 and is GoPro taking part?
This year, Cyber Monday falls on 2 December, the first Monday after Black Friday.
While it used to focus on deals from online retailers, these days it’s pretty much a continuation of the existing Black Friday deals.
As GoPro regularly takes part in Black Friday offerings, we’d be surprised if it didn’t have a deal or two running for Cyber Monday.
We may well see offers start before the shopping event and continue afterwards, but we think the best discounts will be during the long shopping weekend itself.
Bearing that in mind, don’t wait too long for hopes of a better deal as products sell out fast.

Can I use a GoPro as a webcam?
Yes, your new GoPro can be used as a webcam.
All you need is the camera, the USB-C cord (which comes included), a mount, and the GoPro Webcam Desktop Utility software.

Are all GoPros waterproof?
Yes, all the current models of GoPro including the HERO12 are waterproof.
The Max is waterproof up to 5 metres (16 feet), whereas the Hero models are waterproof to 10 metres (33 feet).
If you’re planning to go into water any deeper than this, then your camera will require an additional waterproof case.
