ROLLING Stones fans who want to see the band touring again will soon get some Satisfaction.
I can reveal the iconic English rockers are poised to announce a massive global trek for next year.
It will be the first time Mick Jagger, Ronnie Wood and Keith Richards will have gone on the road since summer 2022.
Insiders tell me the tour will start in the US in April and make its way across the States over the summer.
The trek is also expected to include dates for fans back here in Blighty.
A source said: “The tour will be huge.
“Despite their advancing years The Stones have zero plans to slow down.
“An official announcement is set to be made in the coming days with the first batch of dates.
“Their latest record Hackney Diamonds proved they are bigger than ever and the tour is tipped to be an almost immediate sell out.”
Last month the band topped the Official UK Charts with their 24th album Hackney Diamonds, which features an epic seven-and-a-half minute collaboration with music superstars Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder, Sweet Sounds Of Heaven.
Speaking earlier this year, Keith hinted the band would take to the road — shrugging off their advancing years.
The guitarist said: “When you’re playing rock and roll, you have to be young at heart.
“I don’t think about age until the birthday comes round — and I always know it’s coming round because Mick is five months ahead of me.”
I have no doubt Mick, Keith and Ronnie will once again show the youngsters how rock and roll is really done.
SEEDS BLOOM
THE Lightning Seeds will celebrate their 35th anniversary in pop in style with an epic tour.
The Three Lions legends will embark on a 17-date UK trek, starting next November.
A 20-track Greatest Hits album is also in the works for release next autumn.
Feeling nostalgic, the band’s frontman Ian Broudie said: “I can’t believe it’s been 35 years.
“Our first single Pure really opened the door to a life’s worth of songs, shows and recordings.
“I owe everything to Pure.”
CAUGHT LIVE
JESSIE WARE @ Alexandra Palace, London
★★★★☆
A SINGER’s path is never smooth, but Jessie Ware proved her star is still rising more than a decade after her debut album came out, as she ended her tour in London.
Two sold out shows on Friday and Saturday attracted celebrity fans including singer Boy George, actor Ben Whishaw and All Saints’ Melanie Blatt.
Freak Me Now and the encore Free Yourself were highlights, while an acoustic version of Say You Love Me pleased fans who were on board before her more recent pivot to disco.
Her voice better than ever, Jessie, who with mum Lennie, runs the hugely successful Table Manners podcast, told the crowd: “I didn’t think I’d get to do two nights at Ally Pally. This is magic.
“I started a podcast because I thought my music career was on the rocks.”
Not so. Jessie is on a path to disco stardom.
VICTORIA Beckham proves she’s not too Posh to mingle with the rest of us.
The Spice Girl cut a discreet figure in a black puffer coat as she slipped into Winter Wonderland with daughter Harper.
The pair were seen happily taking in the festive sites of the annual Hyde Park attraction and queuing for the rides.
Going make-up free and with a personalised baseball cap pulled over her face, David Beckham’s wife was able to go incognito amongst the thousands of revellers.
It comes just days after Victoria debuted a range of £110 ‘My Dad Had A Rolls Royce’ T-shirts online – a playful nod to her trying to tell Netflix cameras she grew up working class during filming of Beckham’s documentary, only for the sporting ace himself to call her out.
KYLIE BODYGUARD KNOWLES’ BEST
KYLIE Minogue has hired Beyonce’s bodyguard to protect her while she’s living in Las Vegas for her residency.
Hunky close protection officer James Plaza went viral on social media earlier this summer after Bey’s fans spotted him touring the world with her on her Renaissance World Tour.
As well as being stageside at all Kylie’s gigs at the Voltaire venue in the city’s Venetian hotel, James was also spotted alongside her at this weekend’s F1 Grand Prix.
Proving she really does live life in the fast lane, Kylie performed at the Grand Prix opening ceremony in front of brand new venue The Sphere as well as playing two sold-out shows on Friday and Saturday.
Sharing snaps from the racing pit, Kylie gushed online: “Race-track to Residency.
“What a night and it ain’t over yet.”
Also at the race was David Beckham, who appeared to have shrunk in the wash alongside 7ft 1in American basketball giant Shaquille O’Neal.
The pair posed backstage, with 6ft Golden Balls barely coming up to Shaq’s shoulders.
I imagine five-footer Kylie would have struggled to make his waist – even in heels.
JACK: OZZY NOT DONE
OZZY Osbourne will fight back from his health woes to perform live again – insists his son Jack.
However, Jack says any chance that the Black Sabbath rocker will tour again is long gone.
Last week Ozzy was spotted using a wheelchair in Los Angeles after undergoing multiple procedures for spine and neck damage following a fall at his home in 2019.
Jack said: “I don’t think he’ll tour again.
“But he’s gunning to do one-off shows like festivals, gigs, things like that.
“He’s not done yet!”
Ozzy is thought to be secretly working on a new album in the States, meaning his return to the UK has been delayed once more.
“I’ve had all the surgery now, thank God.
“I’m feeling okay – it was just dragging on.
“I thought I’d be back on my feet months ago.
“I just couldn’t get used to this mode of living, constantly having something wrong.
“I can’t walk properly yet, but I’m not in any pain any more and the surgery on my spine went great.”
He has secretly started work on a new album – meaning his return to London is delayed again.
Ozzy is understood to be working with hit-maker Andrew Watt.
Watt recently worked on the Rolling Stones’ chart-topping record as well as helping relaunch Britney Spears’ music career via her Elton John collaboration Hold Me Closer.
Ozzy is a true music legend, I would love to see him back on stage just one more time.
JADE’S FELLA HATES SAX
JADE Thirlwall should be careful blasting out George Michael’s music at home, as her boyfriend Jordan Stephens has revealed that one of his biggest hits is his ultimate phobia.
The Rizzle Kicks singer admits he can’t stand Careless Whisper, which caused a struggle for him after George’s death in 2016.
On Radio 1Xtra, Jordan said: “What’s my biggest fear? If I told you, you wouldn’t believe me.
“But it’s the saxophone solo in Careless Whisper. It terrifies me.
“It was tough when George passed away, that was really difficult.
“I had to try and get over my fear there and then.
“Basically, hearing that song, I feel like I’m alone in the Eighties with a really bad perm, under a street lamp in the pouring rain.
“It makes me feel uncomfortable.”
SHERI’S AMOUR
SHERIDAN Smith was spotted cheering on her new boxer boyfriend in Manchester over the weekend.
The actress, who split from fiancé Jamie Horn in July 2021, was seen beaming with pride as Dave Ryan took to the ring in the northern city.
Rather than keep a low profile, the down-to-earth star was more than happy to pose with smitten fans for selfies following the match.
She’s famously had a tough time when it comes to love – I hope this time she has truly found The One.
