Having a PC isn’t crucial if you want to use the Meta Quest 3 — it is designed as a standalone headset that can operate with nothing but its processing chip.
However, connecting the Meta Quest 3 to a PC opens you up to a wealth of further content.
How to cast Meta Quest 3 to the TV
The easiest way to cast the Quest 3 to the TV is from the headset itself:
- Turn your TV and headset on.
- From the main control panel, hit the “share” button.
- Click “Cast” on the far side of the menu.
- Select the device you want to cast to.
You can also cast to the TV from your phone:
- Open the Meta app and tap “cast”, which is in the corner of your screen.
